Oenone Wood is a professional cyclist, who commenced her cycling career in 2001 at the age of 21. Oenone is the 2004 and 2005 World Cup Champion, 2004 Athens Olympic Games representative, 2004 Australian Road Champion, 2004 and 2005 Australian Time Trial Champion, Commonwealth Games Gold Medalist and a professional cyclist for T Mobile Professional Cycling Team.
She is a member of Professional cycling Team, T-Mobile Professional Womens Cycling Team (GER), and also of the Canberra Cycling Club. She lives in Aranda, a suburb of Canberra.
