As a singles player Stubbs entered the professional tennis arena in 1988. Since then she's earnt over $1 million in the sport but most of that money has come after she turned her attention to the doubles circuit.
Her singles titles stand at two but since 1992 she has won 20 doubles titles with a variety of partners on the WTA tour.
She's also excelled as a mixed doubles player reaching the semi-finals of the US Open with Todd Woodbridge last year, and with a different partner the year before.
Stubbs has also reached the quarter-finals of Wimbledon with Jason Stoltenberg in 1991.
In Atlanta she was one of Australia's representative's in the singles draw but didn't progress past the first round after losing to Magdalena Maleeva of Bulgaria in straight sets 6-2 6-1.
