Verena Mei is one of the most recognized models in the Sport Compact Racing industry. She has been an International Toyo Tires Poster Model for 2000, 2001, 2002, and 2003. During 2002 and 2003, she has also represented the Import Drag Racing Circuit (IDRC) as a “Starter Girl”. As a full-time model and actress, Verena is constantly on the go, traveling to Pro Sport Compact events throughout the year, signing autographs for fans throughout the nation.
Best known for her million-dollar smile, and the approachability of the girl next door, Verena commands the attention of thousands of young men across the country. Her amazing presence has gained her the popularity to grace the pages of Super Street, Turbo Magazine, Sport Compact Car, Modified Magazine, Drag Sport and many other popular industry magazines and websites.
During the past few years, Verena has autographed over 100,000 posters that hang in offices, garages, bedrooms and shops around the world. In 2002 alone, she made appearances at 35 events, including NHRA Sport Compact series, IDRC races, NDRA series, Hot Import Nights, and Import Revolution. “I love the Sport Compact scene! I’ve met so many of my good friends at these events and have learned so much about racing and what it takes to be a racer. I miss being at the track so much during the off-season! It’s become a large part of my life!” . . . And that’s how it all started!
In April 2002, Verena became the 1st model in the sport compact industry to earn a NHRA Pro Competition Drag Racing License. Her best e.t. : 9.46 sec / 143.81 mph.
